Transportation

Metro

  • Bannan (Blue) Line: take the MRT to Nangang Station or Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station, then transfer to a bus to Academia Sinica.
  • Tamsui-Xinyi (Red) Line: transfer to the Bannan Line at Taipei Main Station, then get off at Nangang Station or Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station.
  • Wenhu (Brown) Line: transfer to the Bannan Line at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, then get off at Nangang Station or Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station.
  • Zhonghe-Xinlu (Orange) Line: transfer to the Bannan Line at Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, then get off at Nangang Station or Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station.
  • From Nangang Station Exit 2, turn left and transfer to buses 212 (Direct or Local), 270, or Blue 25 to Academia Sinica.
  • From Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station Exit 5, cross the street and transfer to buses 212, 276, 306, 620, 645, 679, 205, Small 5, Small 1, or Small 12 to Academia Sinica.

Railway / HSR

  • Take Taiwan Railways or Taiwan High Speed Rail to Nangang Station, then transfer to buses 212 (Direct or Local), 270, or Blue 25 to Academia Sinica.

Bus

  • Take Taipei city buses 205, 212 (Direct/Local), 270, 276, 306 (Direct/Local), 620, or 645 (Main/Branch) to Academia Sinica Station. The previous stop is Zhongyue New Village Station.

Driving

  • Address: No. 128, Sec. 2, Academia Rd., Nangang District, Taipei City (Academia Sinica campus).
  • You may park in the B2 underground parking lot of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building (up to 100 vehicles; closed on weekends), or use surface-level parking spaces within the campus.
  • Parking fees within the Academia Sinica campus are NT$20 per hour from Monday to Friday.
  • On weekends, parking is free of charge, but visitors must exchange a visitor pass at the entrance.

Venue Notices

  • Please wear your badge at all times throughout the event. Without the badge, you will not be able to enter the conference rooms. Make sure to bring it with you if you leave for a moment.
  • Eating and drinking are not allowed in the conference rooms during conference time.
  • For the convenience of all participants, please yield your seat to others if you are not coming back for an extended period. HITCON staff may remove belongings left unattended and will not be responsible for keeping them.
  • You are encouraged to bring reusable utensils. Paper cups will be provided, but please reuse them to avoid unnecessary waste.
  • Visit the booths or participate in the activities when you have time. It may be your lucky day.
  • If you have any questions or lose anything at the conference, please contact the staff at the information desk.

Internet

  • Network security and connection safety are not guaranteed, for this is HITCON.
  • Any type of cyber attack is strictly prohibited. Serious violators will be forced to leave.
  • Personal wireless access points are not allowed at HITCON. Please connect to the mobile network through USB tethering if you want to use a mobile network adapter or a smartphone to get online.
